NSE Inducts 53 UNIOSUN Graduate Engineers During Award Ceremony
The Faculty of Engineering, under the leadership of the Dean, Faculty of Engineering & Environmental Sciences, Engr. Dr. Simon O.A. OLAWALE, presented 53 engineering graduates for induction into as Graduate members of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) at the 2nd Edition of the Graduate Induction and Award Ceremony, which took place on Monday, 19th November, 2018 at the University Main Auditorium.
The graduates, who are currently serving their fatherland through the NYSC scheme graduates from the Departments of Civil Engineering and Electrical & Electronic Engineering for the 2016/2017 academic session.
A major highlight of the induction ceremony was the NSE Awards to outstanding graduates, which was given by the distinguished Chairman of the NSE Osogbo branch, Engr. Olalekan Olaitan Salami, FNSE, FNICE. The award was given in the following categories;

3 Best Graduating Student Award in Electrical & Electronic Engineering AFOLAYAN Deborah O. and AJAYI Opeyemi C.
4 Best Graduating Student Award in Civil Engineering ZUBAYR Rasheedah O.
To crown up the Award session, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Labode Popoola, the DVC Academic Research Innovation & Partnerships, Prof. O.C. Adebooye and the DVC Administration & Development, Prof. Janet O. Olaitan, were also honoured with awards of Excellence.
The guest speaker for the day, Mr Adebayo ADEYINKA encouraged both the attendees and the new Graduate members of the NSE on the topic: “Don’t Find Fault, Find A Remedy”.
Goodwill messages trolls in from the Governor and the Visitor to the University, Ogbeni Engr., Rauf A. Aregbesola, FNSE, FNIMechE, FNIM, represented by Prof (Mrs.) Grace Akinola, Special Adviser to the Governor, on Higher Education, Bursaries and Scholarships; President NSE, Engr Adekunle O. Mokuolu, FNSE ably represented by Engr. Felix A. Ibitoye (KLM), Dean, Faculty of Engineering, Adeleke University, Ede, amongst others.
